Semarang – The Master of Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Diponegoro, successfully organized a training session entitled “Reference Manager, Proofreading, and Final Check Training” on Monday, May 11, 2026. The event was held from 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM WIB at the MM Hall, 4th Floor, Prof. Soewito Room, and was attended by 35 participants.
The training featured Irma Tsuraya Choirinnida, M.B.A. as the speaker, who delivered comprehensive materials and practical guidance on reference management, proofreading techniques, and final checking processes in academic writing and scientific articles. The session aimed to improve participants’ academic writing quality by ensuring their work is systematic, well-organized, and aligned with academic standards.
During the training, participants were introduced to the use of reference manager applications to simplify citation management and bibliography preparation. In addition, participants learned effective proofreading techniques to minimize writing, grammatical, and formatting errors before submitting or publishing academic papers.
The event was conducted interactively with enthusiastic participation from attendees. Participants actively engaged in discussions and raised various questions regarding common challenges faced during the preparation of academic papers, particularly in managing references and conducting final document checks.
Through this training, it is expected that students and participants will further enhance their academic skills, especially in producing high-quality, well-structured scientific papers that are ready for publication in accordance with academic standards.
