Semarang – The Master of Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Diponegoro (MM FEB UNDIP), officially inaugurated the SimInvest UNDIP Investment Gallery located at the MM FEB UNDIP Building, Jl. Erlangga Tengah No. 17, Semarang, on Monday (May 18, 2026).
This event marked a strategic initiative to enhance financial literacy and inclusion, particularly in the field of capital markets, among students and the academic community. The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives from both academia and the capital market industry.
Among those present were Dr. Dra. Irene Rini Demi Pangestuti, M.E., as Advisor of the Capital Market Study Group (KSPM), Mirwan Surya Perdhana, S.E., M.M., Ph.D., as Head of the Master of Management Program FEB UNDIP, and Prof. I Made Sukresna, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., as Secretary of the Master of Management Program FEB UNDIP.
In their remarks, the management of the study program emphasized that the establishment of the SimInvest UNDIP Investment Gallery is expected to serve as a practical learning facility for students to gain a deeper understanding of investment and capital market activities. Furthermore, the investment gallery is expected to foster a new generation of young investors who are intelligent, critical, and adaptive to the rapid development of the digital financial industry.
The official inauguration ceremony of the SimInvest UNDIP Investment Gallery was led by Prof. I Made Sukresna, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., symbolizing the commencement of the gallery’s operations within the MM FEB UNDIP environment.
Following the inauguration, the event continued with the Capital Market School (Sekolah Pasar Modal/SPM), featuring speakers Fanny Rifqi El Fuad, Head of Central Java Region 1 of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and Dipta Amalia Daniswara from PT Sinarmas Sekuritas. During the session, participants received insights into the importance of early investment, an introduction to capital market instruments, investment strategies, and the development of digital investment through the SimInvest platform.
Participants showed great enthusiasm throughout the event. Students and attendees actively engaged in discussions and educational sessions on capital markets as part of efforts to improve their understanding of the increasingly relevant world of investment among younger generations.
Through the inauguration of the SimInvest UNDIP Investment Gallery, MM FEB UNDIP hopes to further strengthen collaboration between academia and the financial industry in creating a sustainable investment education ecosystem that provides positive impacts for society.
